WATCH: Magnum PI is back minus the ‘stache

Cape Town – The television reboot slate continues with a brand new Magnum P.I. from CBS. 

This time around though Magnum will not be sporting a moustache but instead a goatee. 

Jay Hernandez (Bad Moms, Suicide Squad) plays the new Thomas Magnum.

According to the official synopsis of the show "Magnum, P.I returns with all-new sun-drenched adventures as our hero takes jobs no one else will with the help of fellow vets."

An extended trailer of the show was released on Wednesday. 

In the clip we meet Thomas and the rest of his team Juliet Higgins (Perdita Weeks), Orville 'Rick' Wright (Zachary Knighton) and Theodore ‘TC’ Calvin (Stephen Hill) as they investigate the death of their friend Sebastian Nuzzo (Domenick Lombardozzi).
