Wendy Williams to return to her talk show

Cape Town - Daytime talk show host Wendy Williams is set to make a return to TV after taking a temporary break to focus on her health.

The 54-year-old talk show host took a hiatus from her talk show after postponing live recordings in December following her recovery from a fractured shoulder and hospitalisation as a result to her long battle with Graves’ diseases.

Taking to the Wendy Williams' show official Instagram page, Debmar-Mercury the producer and distributer of the show described Wendy as, “an incredible talent with the most unique voice in daytime.”

To which they added, “We can’t wait to welcome her back to her iconic purple chair on the set of her show on Monday, March 4th.”

Nick Cannon, who has been one of Wendy’s guest show hosts, shared with the Wendy Show audience how he once had teary conversation with Wendy during her recovery. Despite her ongoing health issues, Wendy is seemingly ready to get back to her talk show duties.

“Salute to Debmar-Mercury for believing from the start and thanks to my staff for tirelessly holding it down for me,” Wendy wrote in the statement.
