Even if you've never watched a WWE wrestling match before, you've probably heard of The Undertaker.

When you hear the eerie "dong... dong", and the arena goes pitch black, you know the macabre phenom dressed in a black trench coat and his customary hat is about to make his big ring entrance.

He descents down the ramp slowly as the lights flash purple, and his intimidating stance and intense facial expression will send shivers down anyone's spine - it comes as no surprise that The Undertaker has been named of the greatest wrestlers of all time.

Mark Calaway better known by his ring name The Undertaker started his professional wrestling career in 1987, making him the longest-tenured WWE wrestler, performing for over 30-years.

Now, for the first time, viewers will have a first-hand look at the man behind the hat, in an all-new WWE documentary, Undertaker: The Last Ride.

The first episode of Undertaker: The Last Ride premiered on the WWE Network on Sunday, and week by week, the Deadman will take fans on an unprecedented look into his storied career spanning three decades.

World Wrestling Entertainment has unlocked their WWE Network Library and given free access to thousands of hours of on-demand content. Here's how you can watch for free.

The Last Ride has been more than three years in the making, and although he is a captivating entertainer inside the arena, Mark says he was initially "uncomfortable" with the cameras following him around.

"I've been very protective of The Undertaker character and what is seen and not seen. So it was very strange and initially uncomfortable for me having camera crews follow me around."

He adds: "But as we as we went through this. I become more comfortable with it and allowed more access to everything, which I'm so glad that we were able to because I think this docu-series is going to blow people away."

According to Mark, fans who have followed his career for many years will finally see what he is like on a personal level. "I think they're going to be shocked," he says, explaining: "I think they'll be shocked from the contrast between The Undertaker and Mark Calaway. They're going to see a stark difference in the two and there's probably a good reason that I kept them separate for so long."

People have been comparing Undertaker: The Last Ride to the 2020 American sports miniseries about the career of Michael Jordan, The Last Dance - and Mark agrees that there are similarities.

"There are there obviously are some similarities, but I think the Last Ride is a little more personal. But I think equally as intriguing and interesting."

One of the highlights from his career has been the many travel opportunities, and according to Mark it comes down to the energy of the crowd.

"When I do take that last ride, something that I'll miss is travelling internationally and seeing all the people in the arena," he says.
