Cape Town – WWE’s SmackDown will celebrate its 20th anniversary this October – and all your favourite superstars will return for the special occasion.
Kurt Angle, Lita, Mick Foley, Booker T, Hulk Hogan, Trish Stratus, Goldberg, Jerry Lawler, Mark Henry, Ric Flair and Sting will all return to screens once more on 5 October when SmackDown Live premieres in its new timeslot on Supersport 4 (DStv 204).
On air since 1999, SmackDown is the second-longest running weekly episodic television show in U.S. primetime history, only behind Monday Night Raw.
SmackDown has aired more original episodes than some of the most popular television series of all time, including The Simpsons, Gunsmoke, Lassie and Monday Night Football.

To celebrate its 20th anniversary, WWE Smackdown will be moving to a new day and time beginning at 02:00 (CAT) on Saturday, October 5, on SuperSport 4.
The likes of Trish Stratus, Kurt Angle, Lita and more will be on hand to celebrate.
