Desperate times and desperate measures on Survivor SA

2014-05-03 13:15

Los Angeles - The remaining five Survivors are experiencing the meaning of the word ‘hunger’ like never before. At last week's tribal council, ousted Altaaf took revenge by emptying his bag of rice in the fire, but it's not only the lack of food in their bellies that's leading to desperate measures.

After experiencing so many hardships and blindsides, the castaways are all craving a spot in the Top 4.  The way to do this is by winning the Immunity Challenge – one that will test their problem-solving skills and desire to get to the top rung of the Survivor ladder.

This week, captains Mark Fish and Corne Krige will also be duelling for the Salvation Cup for the last time. The outcome of this duel is extremely important for Sivu and Buhle, who know that they should use the winning captain's right to annul one vote. They also realise that playing their secret Hidden Immunity Idol at the wrong time could be disastrous.
Who will win the Immunity Necklace? Will Sivu play the Hidden Immunity Idol for himself or Buhle, or not at all? And who will be send packing next:  flip-flopper David; puppeteer Graham; gentle giant Zavion; sturdy Buhle; or dark horse Sivu?

Survivor South Africa: Champions is broadcast on M-Net on Sundays at 17:30. For DStv Compact viewers, there's a repeat on Saturdays on M-Net Series Zone at 13:00. For the latest updates on the show, join the official Survivor Facebook page – Survivor SA.
