WHAT IT'S ABOUT:

Undertaker: The Last Ride is a limited series event that gives the WWE Universe a rare inside look at Mark Calaway, the man behind The Undertaker, as he prepares for what could be the end of his legendary career.

WHAT WE THOUGHT:

Undertaker: The Last Ride Chapter 3 takes a revealing look at the famous rivalry between The Undertaker and Triple H, ending with their generational clash at WWE Super Show-Down in Melbourne, Australia.

The 55-year-old wrestling legend, whose real name is Mark Calaway, started his professional wrestling career in 1987, and now, for the first time, viewers get a first-hand look at the man under the hat.

The newest instalment starts with a backstage look following The Undertaker's WrestleMania 34 win against John Cena. He confesses that although he was happy with the win, he was "disappointed that the match was only what it was."

Titled, End of an Era, episode three looks at the physical and emotional toll the feud between The Undertaker and Triple H took on The Deadman - looking back at spectacular archival footage dating back to the nineties.

Although "Taker" and Triple H play bitter on-screen rivals, the pair have become good friends in real life, and it's inspiring to see the mutual and respect and admiration these athletes have for each other.

In an interview Triple H reveals that The Undertaker was one of his groomsmen, and he was the one that offered support and advice when he started dating Stephanie McMahon.

In the episode, Triple H, The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels also take a brutally honest look at their dismal performance at WWE Super Show-Down and what could have been an opportunity for The Undertaker to draw the curtain on his career.

For years fans have wondered when the purple lights will dim on The Undertaker's illustrious career. The episode highlights the complexities of retirement for The Undertaker – and the fine line between redemption and obsession.

What's most enjoyable to see is Mark out of character, as he gives straightforward commentary on his career, and you truly get a deeper understanding of why it has been so hard for Mark to hang up The Undertaker's cloak for good.

We also see Mark as a husband, and dad and he admits that it took him decades to be able to leave the character in the arena when he gets home.

Cameras follow Mark from the locker room to the gym, and the wrestling veteran is honest about his physical limitations and his capabilities in the ring as he has gotten older. Which 30 years later still doesn't take away from his star quality and sheer magnitude.

Whether you are a die-hard fan or even new to the WWE Universe - you'll gain new-found respect and admiration for The Deadman and his dedication to his craft and the sport.
