We're four episodes into Marc Buckner's journey to find love in the second season of The Bachelor SA.
But it's not all romantic dates and making connections; it was only a matter of time before the drama in the mansion would get to Marc's ears.

At the cocktail party, things escalated with each woman giving the 36-year-old their version of events, and there was an explosive showdown between Silke and Qiniso.
Ahead of the rose ceremony, Marc told Jason that it was a rough night and shared that he felt he was being manipulated, and that it needs to stop.
Watching everything unfold on television now has been an eye-opener for Marc.
"I only saw what the women showed me on a date, and not what happened at the house."
On whether or not he has been surprised by anyone's actions behind the scenes, he says, "I kind of had a feeling about who was real and who wasn't. Watching back has just confirmed my thoughts."

About the woman sharing what's happening in the house, the currency trader says he had trouble figuring out who to believe.
"Everyone had different opinions, and I didn't know the ladies well, so it was tough to find out the truth."
Since Silke got the first impression rose, and Qiniso got the first kiss, we wondered if the tense encounter between the two changed his opinion of either of them.
Giving a diplomatic answer, Marc says, "It didn't alter my impressions of them, as at the time it was exactly how I felt."
In hindsight, if there was a wild card option in which Marc could bring anyone back to get to know them better based on what he has seen so far, he says he believes everything played out the way that it should have.

Marc shares going into the show he did not have any preconceived ideas about the emotional journey, but it doesn't get any easier as his search continues.
"It got more and more difficult as time went on."
