AKA, K.O, Black Coffee & Major League in music showdown

Johannesburg - Some of the biggest names in SA music slugged it out on social media on Friday, all vying for fans attention and downloads.

The likes of K.O, AKA, Black Coffee and Major League (featuring Cassper Nyovest and Riky Rick) all dropped their latest offerings on Friday, leaving fans with so many treats you would think it's Christmas!

Major League were the first to make our Friday with their latest single, Zulu Girls. The track caused quite a stir on social media earlier this week when the artwork, featuring Minnie Dlamini, Nomzamo Mbatha and Nandi Mngoma was revealed (read more about that here).

A short while later, AKA dropped his highly anticipated track with Khuli Chana, Yanga and Burna Boy. The track is called Baddest and has caused the rappers hashtag, #NewAKA, to trend all week. You can listen and download the track here.

Around the same time, K.O dropped a video for his single, One Time. Fans have been calling for K.O to release the video for some time now and, judging by the reaction, it was well worth the wait.

Not to be outdone, Black Coffee also decided to release his much anticipated album, Pieces of Me.The album has already courted controversy with its cover (read more about that here) but that hasn't stopped his fans from flocking in their droves to download it, making it the number one album on iTunes within three hours of it's release.
