Johannesburg - YOH. As if there was any more space for shade in our entertainment business, AKA and Black Coffee have just reignited the debate.
It all started when Black Coffee tweeted that fans don't need TWARS, they need music.
Now that's hip hop....not this nonsense some of our local hip hop artists do...some even attacking tweeps...Put in a song..We want MUSIC ??

AKA saw the message about hip hop and decided to reply, obvs.
Black Coffee has some fucking nerve telling us what Hip Hop is and isn't.

He didn't leave it at that though...
What local rappers have to do with Drake's song .... I have no idea. What I do know is Black Coffee can't tell me a fucking thing about rap.

If it was Amu or Tumi or Jabba or whoever lecturing us .... Fine, by all means. But lanes .... Stay in them.
— AKA (@akaworldwide) July 26, 2015
This "THING" we "local rappers" are doing has taken a lot of sacrifice and hard work ... It IS most definitely HIP HOP.
— AKA (@akaworldwide) July 26, 2015
Black Coffee also took a moment to hit back.If the Shoe Fits.....Lace it up my Dude.
— Black Coffee (@RealBlackCoffee) July 26, 2015
Hip Hop is MUSIC Being arrogant has nothing to do with MUSIC Being humble has nothing to Do with any Genre of Music you Do.BE HUMBLE
— Black Coffee (@RealBlackCoffee) July 26, 2015
But AKA didn't let it end there, saying hip hop has enough obstacles without Black Coffee getting involved.Local hip hop is up against enough obstacles already without Black Coffee talking down to us.

That guy hasn't laid one brick in the building of SA Hip Hop.
— AKA (@akaworldwide) July 26, 2015
I respect Black Coffee and his legendary status etc .... But you're crazy if you think I'm gonna let him piss on SA Hip Hop.

And that's what we call a spicy addition of #SundayTwitter.
