AKA has big plans for 2015

One thing we've learnt about AKA is that he always keeps it straight.  The rapper, who's just received 11 nominations at this year's Hip Hop Awards, recently took to Twitter to let his fans know about how great he is.

He stated that he is "easily the biggest" SA rapper on the continent. "I have the awards, collabos, airplay and bookings to prove it. Now I need the dollars," he added. Now, what does a great rapper like AKA need? According to him, he deserves a Lamborghini, a mansion and a chef... in 2015, of course. "I have a great life. I make a lot of money by SA standards," he wrote.

He said 2015 will be the year that he breaks free from the limitations he faces in his own country. "I'm at a point where many promoters simply cannot afford or are not willing to pay what we charging. There has to be a level above this." He added that he knows that his people will have his back. "South Africa will always love me ... Besides, it's not like I'll be gone forever."
