Johannesburg- It has just emerged that AKA has clinched a BET Award nomination.
The rapper together with The Soil are the only SA artists, who have managed to make the nominees list.
They have been nominated in the Best International Act: Africa category, and will go up against the likes of Wizkid and Sauti Sol, who have also been nominated in the same category.
AKA who is obviously over the moon, took to Instagram to share the exciting news with his fans on Monday evening.
Other big names on the nominees list include Chris Brown, Usher, Nicki Minaj, Drake, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Trey Songz, Iggy Azalea, Rick Ross, and John Legend.
