Johannesburg - It seems like every young musician's dream- to crack the lucrative American music market. But AKA says they can shove the American dream, because he doesn't want it!

Talking to Factory78 during his UK tour recently, AKA says that, unlike many artists across the world, he's not obsessed with making it big in America.

"As far as my long term plans go, I'm not too interested in the States," he says" The state's know what they want. They have what they want. I'll always be AKA from South Africa. Davido from Nigeria. While in the UK, Nigeria, Dubai I can still be 'that guy'!

"There are many Africans who are big in the States and who have affected US culture. But for me, I have a different plan. I have a different plan to get to where I want to be. It's time for a new story," he adds.

Well, whatever this "new story,"  as long as it has AKA in it, it's sure to be a best seller!
