AKA throws shade on Ace Hood

Forget the beef AKA has been having with Cassper, the Simdope rapper is now throwing shade on another rapper - American Ace Hood.

Ace hood is set to perform alongside some of the best local talent in SA this weekend as part of the Project Maboneng street festival. But AKA believes that the local artists at the show, including Cassper Nyovest, Riky Rick, Kid X and Kwesta should not be 'supporting" the American rapper, instead Ace should be their support act!

"If Maboneng really wants to make a statement ... Ace Hood must open for Cassper, Kid X, OKMalumkoolkat etc ..." he said, before taunting Ace to give him a verse.

"Maybe Ace Hood can give someone a verse!!! Imagine!!! That would be so great!!! .. Please Mr Hood, pick me! Pick me!"

Considering AKA's history of drama after opening for international acts you would be forgiven for thinking this was just another case of sour grapes, but the man makes a good point and it seems like majority of his fans agree: "For once AKA is right, who is Ace Hood and why do local artists who are of a better calibre have to open for him? What a waste.," one fan wrote.

AKA soon apologised to event organiser and fellow performer George Avakian for possibly offending him.
