AKA to apologise to DJ Zinhle in MTV interview

Johannesburg – AKA is set to bare his soul this coming Friday when the All Eyes on Me rapper lets us in on a no-holds barred chat with MTV.

The upcoming interview has everyone talking and its creators promise that it will answer all those questions we’ve ever wanted answers to.

Talking to The Juice, MTV Base Channel Director, Tim Horwood, says that AKA has a special relationship with the channel, so they wanted to give him the opportunity to give his side of the stories we often read about.

“With all the hype and drama around him at the moment, he’s often said that the media misrepresent him, so we wanted to give him a platform to really tell us the truth. We wanted to have a “real talk” conversation with him that would shut down all the smaller side-bar conversations that are happening, and ultimately give our viewers the chance to hear it all straight from the horse’s mouth,” says Tim.

Tim promises that viewers can expect to hear what caused the rapper’s beef with Cassper, in greater detail than has ever been said before, and even hear him apologise to his baby mama, DJ Zinhle. In a press release sent by MTV on Wednesday, AKA was quoted as saying; "I have made choices that might have put me before her, before my child or before my family".

“He’s saying things that he’s never said before, one of the things we told him is that people don’t really want to hear just another interview, we want this to be a historic interview and that’s what he told us;'Let’s make this historic,’” Tim tells The Juice.
