Actress Leleti Kumalo: "I was living a very disgusting life"

Now here's something you don't get to see everyday.

Leleti Khumalo, who rose to stardom as the lead in the theatre production of Sarafina, was Nicky Greenwall's guest on The Close Up.

She performed Sarafina on stages across the country and Broadway before starring alongside Whoopi Goldberg in the cinema production of Sarafina.  Leleti also starred in the hit movie, Hotel Ruwanda but has been away from the spotlight for almost a decade- guess that happens when you have a set of twins to keep you busy.

The publicity shy Leleti opened up to Nicky in an in-depth interview about the journey to stardom and her nasty divorce. "I was living a false life. I would portray that I was living a happy life yet I was living a very disgusting life," she said.

Leleti admitted that all these of being in the industry she's convinced that she has two personalities. The award-winning star added that being famous is a very difficult life. "I know it because I lived it," she explained.
