Arthur Mafokate Junior all set for his debut

Time sure does fly!

The kwaito king's son has just turned 21 and he's already set to release his first album.

Arthur Mafokate Junior, aka AJ, told Sunday World  that his debut album, Keamogetswe is done and ready to hit the streets next month.

"It's mainly about love, because I'm inspired by love. It's straight from my heart," he explained.

AJ added that the album was also inspired by his personal experiences. Even though AJ has a great relationship with his dad, it was actually his uncle who influenced his decision to get into the music industry.

AJ explained that his uncle was obsessed with house music and always listened to DJ Fresh's tunes, which got him hooked onto house music as well.

"My dad and I have a working relationship and it never gets complicated or personal. I want to get more involved in the business side of it to ensure that 999 has longevity," he added.

This young lad is definitely going places, he's also just landed his own radio show on MixFM and is studying towards a finance degree.
