Arthur Mafokate's looking for new talent!

If you're an up-and-coming musician or artist of any sort  listen up...

Kwaito king, Arthur Mafokate has started a non-profit organisation to motivate and inspire fresh new talent.

The organisation is called South African Arts Development Association (SAADA) and will hit the ground running with a nationwide talent search.

Speaking to Sunday World Arthur explained that he started the organisation to make a difference in the industry.

"Often we like complaining but very few people are prepared to stand up and do something. We need to take care of the future of the industry through the young ones," he said.

SAADA's musician talent search kicks off this Wednesday and will be taken to all nine provinces. One thousand musicians will be selected to join a 12 month SAADA programme.

Arthur will be working closely with singers Osikido, Chomee, Dr Malinga and Cassper Nyovest.
