Axed Gagasi FM DJ Zeal was 'too stubborn'

DJ Zandile "Zeal" Dladla, who was recently sacked from Gagasi FM, was reportedly breaking all the rules at the station. According to Move, Zeal, who is a former Metro FM DJ, did an interview three weeks ago without the approval of the station's management. Management then took disciplinary action by suspending her for a week.

A source told the mag: "The problem with her is that she was too stubborn, full of herself and wanted to do things her own way. She had no respect for he colleagues. She wanted to be her own boss and didn't take orders from the management."

The station's spokesperson Khulekani Shandu confirmed that Zeal's contract has been terminated. "Gagasi FM has released Zandile Zeal Dladla from her contract as a station presenter with immediate effect."

Move could not reach Zeal for a comment.
