BEWARE: Fake Mfundi Vundla Twitter account!

A fake Mfundi Vundla Twitter account is causing quite stir on the social platform.

The tweets on the account takes aim at e.tv's telenovela, Ashes to Ashes, which airs for the first time tonight.

If you didn't know better you'd think that the Generations creator had lost his marbles - that's how direct and awkward the tweets are.

But thankfully all is well with Mfundi and it's the doing of a troll.

"We are unfazed with no agitation to the launch of Ashes to Ashes tomorrow. They don't have what it takes! Generations The Legacy is blood. Do not be bewildered into perplex by our rivals. Stay loyal," read one of the tweets.

To make matters even more bizarre, the troll has been tagging celebs like Pearl Modiadie, Dineo Ranaka and Boity in these tweets.

Meanwhile, the real Mfundi took to his own Twitter account to let fans know that @MfundiMvundla is a fake account. "I see there's a fake account that confuses many of you here. The "L" on that fake account is actually a capital letter "i" Be careful," he posted.

Eish. Still awks though.
