Kaizer Chiefs striker Bernard Parker is ready to get back into the swing of things.
It's been three months since he underwent ankle surgery, which kept him away from the game. Bernard told Daily Sun that even though he was ready, he still needs time to improve his sharpness on the pitch.
Bernard played his first game since the injury over the weekend against the University of Pretoria. "It definitely does feel good to be back. It also feels good to be back when the team is winning," he told the newspaper.
Bernard added that he feels fit and that he wasn't even tired after the game.
Kaizer Chiefs coaches have expressed their full confidence in Bernard and that he'll be back to his old self in no time.
