Black Coffee: I'm gunning for a grammy now

Johannesburg - World famous DJ Black Coffee has set his sights on a Grammy award.

"That’s the next project, that’s what we gunning for now. Obviously there is a lot involved musically," Black Coffee revealed to 702 on Friday, when asked if he saw a Grammy award in his future .

"We just released an album and it’s gone gold in three weeks, maybe in two weeks it should be platinum. We want to take this same album and make some minor adjustments and release it internationally. So there is a drive to get to that level," he added.

Black Coffee says that he is driven by his passion for music, and believes it will push him towards new heights.

"My whole life I've tried to remain that same guy that was hungry in the beginning for success. I think I'm the hungriest guy in this industry."

And when he has that kind of determination, we reckon it's only a matter of time before he adds a golden Grammy to his trophy cabinet.

Get the polish ready, guys!
