Black Coffee caught in copy cat drama

Johannesburg - It seems like Black Coffee's new album may be an original...copy!

Black Coffee had fans in a tizz this week when he revealed the artwork for his latest album, Pieces of Me.

It's quite a clever idea to match the album cover to fit the title of the album, right?

Except for the fact that, as fans pointed out, it is pretty much a copy of an album released by American RnB artist Ledisi, in everything from the cover design to the name.

When contacted for comment, Black Coffee's management were shy to talk about the cover, referring The Juice to the following statement:

Due to the quick thinking of Black Coffee fans, Soulistic Music has been made aware of the existence of an album similar to the fifth album by Black Coffee, which is set for release later this week.

We are addressing this at present and would like to extend our thanks to Black Coffee's fans for bringing this to our attention.

Maybe Black Coffee can get Ledisi on a track and they can put this is all behind them?
