Bonang turns down Generations role

Johannesburg - Bonang Matheba has revealed that she just couldn't fit a role on Generations into her already manic schedule.

Apparently Generations creator Mfundi Vundla tailored a role just for Queen B and wanted her to be a part of the show.

But when B was approached by producers things just didn't work out in their favour.

"They told me that they had created a role for me and I told them that I am overworked. I suggested that they should approach me in a year or so when my diary is free," she told Sunday World

Bonang explained that it was incredibly difficult for her to turn down the offer, but she is apparently overwhelmed with work at the moment.

"I don't think I'm ready for Generations but when I saw the character, I saw Bonang Matheba," she added.

Meanwhile, former Elizabeth Arden model, Lerato Moloi, is rumoured to be taking the role, which Bonang declined.

But neither Lerato or Mfundi would comment on the rumours.

Guess we'll just have to watch to find out!
