Generations got rid of half of its cast recently, so it's natural that there's going be speculation over who will replace them.
There has been rumour after rumour of every actor and their dog joining the show, but one of the most recent rumours said that a whole bunch of the old cast were approached to return, along with new actors like Bonang, Gail Mabalane and Terry Pheto.
The list of actors approached sounded a bit far fetched (like a Sundowns of Soapies) but at least Bonang and Connie Ferguson have both denied that they will be joining the show.
"It's not true, I was not offered a role nor did I audition for any," Bonang told Drum this week.
Connie has also denied the rumour saying she has not been approached, but that if she was she would have to see how it fitted into her busy schedule.
"I honestly don't know anything about this, it was news to me when a reporter phoned me about it last week," the actress, who once played the role of Karabo on the show, said.
Meanwhile, the shows creator Mfundi Vundla says that the show has not approached anyone because they still developing ideas for a new Generations.
