Bongz: "I'm not broke"

Although things have been tough for Brenda Fassie's son Bongz, he denies reports that he is broke. The singer and producer told Drum: "I'd rather go hungry than ask for hand-outs. I have  a place to stay and my daughter has been going to creche since she was young. What more could I want. At least I don't have debts."

Recent reports have suggested that the former Jozi member has run out of cash and is even failing to support his daughter. "Negative things can be written about me, but I thank all my fans for supporting me and loving me. I wouldn't be where I am if it wasn't for them," he told Drum.
