Brickz: I don't want to live my life as if I'm guilty

Johannesburg- It's no secret that Brickz has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons lately.

The Sweetie My Baby hit maker has also reportedly not been in the best financial situation since the start of his lengthy legal battle.

But Brickz is determined to keep his head up high.

During a tell-all interview with eNCA, Brickz revealed that fans can look forward to a Kwaito Revolution Album, which will be released soon.

The album is set to feature various kwaito artists and is a compilation of various tracks. When asked about what inspired the album, Brickz revealed that he refuses to let anything take down his passion for music.

"I stand here knowing that I'm innocent, so I don't have anything to hide. I don't want to live my life as if I'm guilty," he explained.

The kwaito star added that whether there is a court case or not, he still has a talent and nothing will stop him from following his dream.

Brickz was coy when it came to discussing anything regarding the court case, the assault charges or his current relationship status. But he did set the record straight on the recent headlines.

"I have made an oath to myself not to reply to tabloids. I know I'm making headlines and I don't care, there are no facts to the articles. I'm just going to focus on my music," Brickz added.
