Kwaito star Brickz seems to be doing well after a rough two years.
But the worst is not over yet.
Drum magazine sat down with the star, who has revealed that he's getting his life back in order, since being released on bail.
Brickz spent 40 days behind bars last year after a rape charge was laid against him. The kwaito star is accused of raping a teenage relative and is due back in court later this month.
Brickz says that even though he's doing well, the thought of spending up to ten years in prison scares him. But he's confident that the truth will prevail.
The singer also rubbished claims that he's back on drugs and is broke. "I'm not down and out. I'm not broke. I'm not rich but I'm comfortable. I have food on my table and I can take my children to school and feed them. A broke person can't afford that," he told the mag.
The singer lost millions of rands in music deals and endorsements because of the rape accusations, but is apparently able to make a living through small gigs.
