Brickz wants his case dropped: "It's weak and full of holes"

Brickz has told the Roodeport Magistrates court that he wants his rape case thrown out.

According to Times Live, the kwaito stars plea came via his new legal representative, Dumisani Mabunda, this morning after the lawyer said that the case against the star was "weak and filled with holes".

“We are [making] representations to the national director [of public prosecutions] to say that the case is weak and that it is unnecessary for the accused to attend trial – this matter must just be withdrawn,”  Dumisani told the court this morning.

Dumisani asked that the court postpone the case again to allow him time to familiarise himself with the legal docket of the case and make a representation to the national director of prosecutions to have the case dropped.

Brickz's trial, where he is accused of raping a 17 year old girl, has been postponed several times already, most recently after his previous lawyer revealed he could no longer represent Brickz because of fees owed to him by the Kwaito star. But according to the Sowetan,  Brickz's new lawyer says that he has had no issue with the star “I can confirm that he has settled the matter with his old lawyer. We have also been paid,” said the lawyer.

Seems like Brickz worked a miracle to pay his lawyers. Maybe he can work another one and get his case thrown out!
