Busiswa returns to Coke Studio with Oliver Mtukudzi

Johannesburg - Just when we thought Coke Studio couldn't get anymore gripping, the show brought together four more of the hottest acts on the continent.

From Busiswa's fusion with an African legend, to musicians Nakhane Toure and Andyboi creating a hit under major pressure, here's what went down on Coke Studio this week:

Busiswa x Oliver Mtukudzi

Busiswa is no stranger to the Coke Studio, having previously created a fusion with singer Paige Mac. The Lahla star returned to the Studio this week to take part in a once-in-a-lifetime fusion with music legend, Oliver Mtukudzi.

You would be forgiven for thinking Busiswa would be a little starstruck performing with the world renowned guitar legend, but Busiswa did well to overcome her initial fears and create a hit with the Zimbabwean music icon.

What we loved most about the fusion:

Busiswa was doubting her abilities at the start of the fusion, but after a kind word and some coaching from Oliver, she was able to find her groove. The result was a great track that promises to be a real club filler.

Where to get the track:

The track is called Gidah and you can get it here.

Nakhane Toure x Andyboi

Nakhane Toure may be one of the hottest artists at the moments, especially after his recent collaboration with Black Coffee. He teamed up with another fresh new talent in the form of Andyboi.

Despite the wealth of talent between them, the pair just could not come up with anything to write home about. Eventually, like most students with a looming deadline will know, they were able to come together at the last minute to make some real magic.

What we loved most about the fusion:

We were really impressed by the way the pair, with their backs against the wall, were able to perform a minor musical miracles and create an infectious tribal house fusion. Do we sense this is another chart topper for Nakhane Toure?

Where to get the track:

The track is called Bekezela and you can get it here.
