C-Live to his late son: You are gone but you live in me

Johannesburg - Warning: you might want to get the tissues before reading this...

Clive "C-Live" Shabalala had mourners in tears this weekend when, in an impromptu moment, the popular DJ said his final farewells to the son he had tried to save in a blaze last week.

According to several reports  C-Live had not planned to speak at the funeral, but stood up and expressed his desire to pay tribute to his son.

Referring to his son as "my homie, my best friend and strength in my darkest moments, C-Live said:

"When you lost your mother in February this year, I had to step in and become a full-time father. Every day, I would learn from you. I would watch you in awe, looking at how you affected people's lives. Today you are gone, but you live in me. It has been a sweet and short ride with you. Go well my friend, go well my friend, lala kale qhawe."

So sads.
