Johannesburg - Cassper Nyovest says he is embarrassed to be a South African after visiting refugee camps in Johannesburg on Thursday.
Cassper, who has been vocal about his support for the #NoToXenophobia campaign, spent some time in the camps on Thursday morning and took pictures of his visit.
He posted the images to social media shortly after his visit and spoke openly about his experience to try and help his fans understand the conditions refugees of the recent Xenophobic attacks live under.

"Visiting refugee camps today in Johannesburg and after seeing what my brothers and sister's living conditions look like, I'm so embarrassed to be a South African," he wrote.
"I was walking around with shame. This is how our brothers & sisters are living in SA. After working sooo hard to build, everything taken,just like that? #NoToXenophobia".
The visit comes only days after Nhlanhla Nciza of legendary musical group Mafikizolo visited refugee camps to offer their support for victims of the recent xenophobic attacks in Mzansi.
