Cassper Nyovest (Instagram)
Johannesburg- What was once one of the great moments of rapper Cassper Nyovest's career is slowly turning into a nightmare.
While most of the country celebrated his nomination, Cassper took to Twitter to vent about what he felt was a lack of support.
The tweet was picked up and it wasn't long before Cassper was getting support from fans and other musicians.
The support was needed, especially since Cassper was languishing behind front runner, Uganda's Eddy Kenzo.
But just as it seemed like he had got over those challenges, Cassper was dealt another blow when Instagram decided to remove his, and his fans, voting posts, labelling them spam.
"Instagram keeps removing my posts when I ask people to vote cause it sees it as spam. At first I thought it was my wifi, then I thought it was my phone but nah. Am I the only one? This voting process though... @bet_intl we struggling ouchea," he wrote.
Cassper fans can still vote for him on the BET website, but it seems Cassper has already started to turn his eye towards the next mission: to win big at the MTV MAMA's to be held in Durban next month.
