Cassper accused of stealing "Phumakim"

Uh oh!

Cassper Nyovest has apparently stolen his latest single Phumakim. According to the Daily Sun Sipho Moratiwa, an unknown rapper from Pretoria, released a song with the same title last year.

He said: "When I finished recording my extended play  I sent my song Phumakim, my first singe to radio stations and pominet artists asking for their opinions. Cassper was one of them. He never responded but I continued to market the song."

Sipho claims that Cassper paraphrased his words and upped the tempo. "Otherwise it's my song," he said.

Cassper told the paper that he doesn't know the guy and hears no similarities between the two songs. He also took to Twitter to express his feelings. "It's intimidating when everybody think you de best/ cos I'm the one guy to go at now/ I heard you planning to do it, you should hold that thought." he tweeted.
