Johannesburg - Rapper Cassper Nyovest has responded to rumours that he was booed off stage after playing his diss track at a show this past weekend.
Twitter went crazy on Saturday night when fans attending the Homecoming Picnic claimed that people turned against Cassper at the show. They say the mood turned sour when Cassper, who made a guest appearance at the show, performed his famous diss track Dust2Dust (give it a listen here). Some even claimed that fans started singing AKA's Composure as Cassper left the stage.
But Cassper and his fans responded to the reports, saying that they were not booed off stage, but instead heckled by a small portion of the crowd when they left the stage at the end of their performance.
Posting a video of the performance, Cassper wrote: "I wake up to lies that we got booed at #HCP !!! B*tch where??? Lil man must be high again."

Last night I surprised fans at #HCP with 2 tracks. They were unhappy that I just did 2 tracks and left. Not because of what Pinocchio said.

Cassper says it's important for artists to "document" their career in case reports like this ever crop up: A lil advise to fellow artist. Try document your career as much as you can. Besides proving lies wrong,1 day you will need the content...
