We all went crazy when we heard that the City of Tshwane spent R10 million on Nicki Minaj for the TribeOne Festival. Although the festival didn't happen, Nicki got paid.

This had us thinking about how much our local artists get paid for gigs.

Move has revealed a few big in-demand names in the industry and how much they'll cost you. According to the mag, you will not get to see Uhuru for anything less than R100 000. Award-winning group Micasa, reportedly charge R80 000 per gig, and successful duo Mafikizolo will also cost you R80 000, according the magazine's source.
