Oi.
It seems like our fave puppet just can't stay away from trouble. We love it though, he's hilarious!
Chester Missing tackled Democratic Alliance leader, Helen Zille on social media over comments about the Steve Hofmeyr debacle.
Helen seemed to target ventriloquist Conrad Koch and his puppet Chester, in her "SA Today" newsletter, which tackles racism and free speech.
Helen questioned whether Chester took on Steve's 'Apartheid' comment to boost his career. She also said that Chester became a national hero after winning the court case against Steve.
"But maybe the laugh's on us. Chester knows there is nothing like a running battle with racists to send your career into orbit," she said in the newsletter.
This obvs sent Chester into war mode. The puppet hit back on Twitter by re-posting a tweet he sent to Helen when Steve made the controversial comment, asking if she was going to let it slide.
Helen also said it was "mind-blowing" how satirists could not take the slightest bit of satire about themselves.
Chester said that he was surprised that Helen believed that her comments was satirical. And, asked if her blue doek (headscarf) was also sattire.
He also circulated a very funny pic of Helen riding a donkey and of her wearing the blue doek.
Chester for president!
