Chiefs deny Bobby Motaung and Itu Khune beef

Johannesburg - Kaizer Chiefs has denied that any beef exists, between their goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune, and Chiefs boss Bobby Motaung.

The club say that, contrary to newspaper reports, Bobby did not prevent Khune from entering the pitch to celebrate after the match.

“I didn’t even speak to Itu on the day. The words in the newspapers are not authentic,” Bobby told the club's official website.

And, it seems he's not the only one confused by the reports, Itu has also come out to say, that he was surprised by the supposed 'beef' between him and his boss.

"Those stories are not true. Besides that, I was sitting with the other players in the Super Suite, while Bobby was in the Presidential Suite,” Khune says.

The website maintains that the club is still in contract negotiations with Khune, and pleaded for patience, and a cool head while negotiations are underway.
