Chris Rock files for divorce

After almost 20 years of marriage, Chris Rock has filed for divorce from his wife, Malaak Compton-Rock.

A statement from his rep confirmed the news and asked for privacy during this time as it is a 'personal matter'

There's been much speculation about their marriage after Chris was spotted holding a baby years ago, sparking speculation that he had fathered a child with another woman.

But if you remember, local newspaper, Sunday Times, had an expose earlier this year where it alleged that the child Chris had been spotted with was South African. It was claimed that there seemed to be some kind of adoption process going on, but Chris' pr team did not comment on the issue.
