The Old Mutual Music in the Gardens concert promises to be a fun-filled day for the entire family.
You'll be treated to your favourite tracks by Claire Johnston and Mango Groove, as well as Josie Field and Laurie Levine.
Claire told The Juice that fans can expect a fabulous day out spent with loved ones. "We're very excited about the concert as it's such a great way to celebrate women and our country," she said.
Meanwhile, Claire who has been in the music industry for decades is currently completing her album Sing The Beloved Country, which features Mango Groove and other SA artists.
"The album is a celebration and a tribute to South African music and culture," she explained.
Having seen the good, bad and the ugly of the music industry, Claire adds that she'd never trade it in for anything. However, her one piece of wisdom to young musicians entering the industry is to "be original and trust yourself."
"There's no need to try and be exactly like Beyoncé, just be you. Also always remember that it's not all fun and games," she added.
It's all happening on 24 August at the Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens from 11am. Tickets available at the Old Mutual Music in the Gardens Facebook page for R100 or at the door for R120.
