Confirmed: Gareth Cliff is leaving 5FM

After weeks of speculation, this morning it was confirmed that Gareth Cliff will be leaving 5FM. Not just that, but the entire breakfast team will also be leaving the station.

And as if that wasn't enough, today was their last show.

News reader Lee-Ann Mol wrote on Twitter "Yip, it's no early April Fools'. Gareth Cliff, Mabale Moloi and moi, Lee-Ann Mol, are leaving 5FM. It's our last show today."
