DJ Sbu pushes Mofaya despite SAB findings

Johannesburg - Remember when DJ Sbu said the production of his energy drink will be temporarily suspended after the South African Bureau of Standards found it was not officially approved and carried its stamp illegally?

Well, despite Sbu insisting that production had stopped, that doesn't mean that he doesn't have stock of MoFaya. And when one has stock, you've got to get rid of it, right?

So Sbu, being the businessman that he is, made sure that he gave it to all the right peeps, including Kaizer Chiefs players ahead of their game last night.  It sparked some controversy though, with Orlando Pirates fans up in arms over the fact that their players weren't given the drink. In his defence, he wrote on Instagram: "I'm an entrepreneur before I'm a Bhakaniya."

And he had to rope in some celebs, of course...
