Johannesburg- It seems like the public feud between DJ Zinhle and Bonang Matheba is far from over.
How it all started:
It's been exactly one month since DJ Zinhle broke her silence with allegations of an affair between Bonang and AKA. (Read that story here)
In response to the claims, Bonang's team released a statement demanding an apology from Zinhle. (Read that story here)
Although all sides involved in the drama have since remained mum on the matter, it is safe to say that there is certainly still tension.
Tagged in online comments:
Over the weekend, Zinhle lashed out at some of Bonang's fans on social media making it crystal clear that she has "no time to waste on her".
Zinhle hit back at comments made about her on one of Bonang's Instagram posts.
The comments that started it all:
"I bet @djzinhle is shocked at how you literally bounced back after the affair saga, you can't keep a good woman down! #slaying #nomvulawethu #yourock (sic)," wrote one fan.
This comment caused quite a frenzy as other fans started agreeing with the statement.
"My thoughts exactly. Zinhle tried shem and managed to get some following from the whole thing, but @bonang_m just keeps bringing it. @bonang_m remains a role model for how she handled the whole saga. Reigning supreme! (sic)," wrote another fan.
Zinhle takes on the trolls:
This obviously didn't sit well with Zinhle, who was tagged in all the comments.
"When exactly did I attack this girl? Do I look like I have silly time to waste?," Zinhle commented.
An angered Zinhle told Bonang's fans not to involve her in such rubbish.
"So you think I woke up one day and thought, how can I destroy this girl? She might be everything to you but you must understand that she is absolutely nothing to me so I do not have time to waste on her. Please go for another route if you must kiss her ass. Do not involve me...I'm too old for such rubbish, I have a family to take care of and a job to do (sic)," Zinhle added.
And she wasn't done:
Never one to mince her words, Zinhle also took to Twitter shortly after the incident to set the record straight on the reason she commented on the post.
We need to reevaluate this whole "role model" thing... The standards are dropping.

I value respect and I will always fight for it... I have made mistakes but I disrespect no one!

I have seen people drown in hatred... I will never go down that road but if there is a problem, I will address it... Respectfully...
