DJ Zinhle opens up about AKA and finding a new man

Johannesburg – They may have had a very public break-up, but it seems DJ Zinhle and AKA are still really good friends.

Talking to Gareth Cliff on CliffCentral recently, Zinhle says that despite the split, their friendship remains in tact.

"He's a very good friend of mine. He’s my best friend,” Zinhle says. “I’m very proud of him for even trying to learn about my tradition and what’s important to my family. The family love him. He’s family. We're all family. Kairo has made us all a family."

It’s been little under a week since the couple announced their separation (read Zinhle's statement on the split here) and she says it's too soon to think of moving on.

“I guess I'll see what the universe has to throw at me and hope it throws good things,” she laughs. "I'm just not mentally ready. When I know what kind of guy I want,  I haven't defined the kind of person I want next. Until then, I can't say I’m ready to see someone else,” Zinhle adds.

Just as long as you not gonna go searching for your new man on Tinder, Zinhle....
