It's been reported that the TV and radio personality was dubbed to be Neutrogena's first local ambassador but this has slipped through her fingers.
Sunday World is reporting that Pearl's dreams were shattered when the company decided not to go with her as the face of the international brand.
"I can confirm that Pearl Thusi is not being unveiled as the face of Neutrogena. She was one of several candidates considered for the role but was not successful," confirmed Jonhson & Johnson spokesperson, Laura Nel.
Meanwhile, Pearl's manager told the paper that they didn't even know that Neutrogena was looking for ambassadors. "We had never engaged nor negoiated with them at any point with regards to Pearl, this is all very confusing," said Simphiwe Majola.
He added that it was all just "blatant rumours" to begin with.
So we guess we'll just have to wait and see who'll be named as the face towards the end of the year.
