Johannesburg- The storm which has engulfed Diski Divas refuses to blow over.
The show has been making headlines since last Friday when a heated argument turned violent between Wendy Parker, Kat Mohoaduba and Nonhle Ndala.
Wendy and Kat were subsequently given the boot from the show. Now it has emerged that Kat has laid charges of assault against Nonhle Ndala.
This is according to Sowetan who confirmed the news with Kat.
Kat has fiercely denied laying a finger on former co-star Nonhle, who she believes was let off the hook easily.
"I didn't assault Nonhle. She hit me, that is why I went and opened a case of assault and defamation of character against her," Kat told the paper.
She believes that this is the first step to salvaging her reputation, which has been "tarnished" by the entire incident.
Kat explained that she's shocked about being fired from the show, and believes that Nonhle got off easily after always "offending" others.
The former Diski Diva made reference to an on-air fight between Nonhle and Felicia, which resulted in Felicia landing in hospital.
"Felicia was admitted to hospital for depression after that, but nothing was done to Nonhle," she added.
