DJ Merlon had one of the biggest tracks of 2014. His song, Koze Kuse, became an instant hit and is still an anthem.
Speaking to Move about the song, the DJ said: "It was actually meant to be a single, but due to the demand, we ended up making a six-track disc which is available in all music stores. I received a call on New Year's eve and was informed the track is being played by all SABC radio stations and some independent stations."
Merlon, who's worked with Lvovo and Zakes Bantwini, said he didn't expect this hype around the track, which has even attracted international interest. "Recently I was invited in Botswana, but the tickets sold so fast that the organisers had to change the venue to a bigger one. This is a true blessing and I'm grateful to everybody for the support," the DJ told Move.
