Dj Tira and Donald are big mates ready to have a big party

Who knew? DJ Tira and local musician Donald are good mates!

And as they prepare for a killer weekend, where they will share a stage to celebrate Tira's birthday and Donald's album release, Tira has told the Daily Sun just how much they admire each other.

"Donald is one of those independent guys in the industry,” said Tira, before adding that their friendship means more to him than the money he would have got from helping him at his album launch.

“We’ve built a relationship with him and I won’t charge me because I am also helping him with the album launch,” he says, promising to bring the house down at their event in Durban this weekend.

If you heading to the launch to be hosted at 47th Avenue in Durban this Saturday,  Tira has some advice for you. “People should make sure that they buy tickets early because it would be going down. Ladies should wear white and guys need to wear black, ” he says!
