Donald and the Muffinz cook up a hit on Coke Studio

Johannesburg - Unique names, some harmless banter and a famous red microphone. This week's Coke Studio had it all!

Here's what cooked in the Coke Studio kitchen this week:

Donald x The Muffinz

The Maxwell of Mzansi, RnB crooner Donald, teamed up with The Muffinz to create a contagious hit.

At first the group of boys were all fun and games, until it was time to put their heads down and work on some serious music.

What we loved most about the fusion: The track is unlike anything either act has ever done before, pushing boundaries for all involved. The result is a track filled with mystery. In other words, a sure radio hit!

Where to get the track: The track is called The Trap Tho and you can get it here.

Radiofien

Radiofien may be one of the most unique names in the industry, but it's also the name of an act which we won't be forgetting in a hurry!

Coke Studio introduced us to female rapper, Farai and her producer, Dutch, known collectively as Radiofien. She's been tipped by those in the know to be one of the hottest acts to watch in 2016, and it's not hard to see why.

What we loved most about the fusion: There's something really exciting about seeing a young act break through with all the enthusiasm of a kid at Christmas. That's exactly how we felt when we saw Farai shining bright in the Coke Studio.

Where to get the track: The track is called I Wanna Live and you can get it here.
