Dr Malinga gives back to his hometown diski team

Johannesburg - Dr Malinga grew up in the dusty streets of Temba, Hammanskraal, and last week he returned to its streets to give back.

He met the Moretele Gunners team, giving the boys gifts of new football boots.

Malinga told Daily Sun that he hopes his gifts can inspire others to live their dreams.

“We cannot be stingy when we support our communities. It’s now time to turn your talents into pride – not just for Temba and Hammanskraal, but for Mzansi," he told the paper.

We wonder if he also taught them his famous kick. We think it could be used to score some epic goals!
