Johannesburg - Whoah!
Drum magazine released its cover on Thursday with the headline: "Cassper pops the question and Boity says yes."
This led everyone to believe that the couple are engaged.
Even Cassper and Boity themselves reposted the cover, admitting for the first time that they are a couple and are deeply in love.
But now Boity has cleared the air about the cover line on the magazine, calling it misleading. "He asked me to be his girlfriend. Not his wife," she said in an interview with Bonang Matheba on Metro FM.
In an online article, Drum has tried to fix the situation by adding that Cassper had asked her to be his girlfriend.
Drum magazine has been unavailable for comment.
But the publication was soon trending on Twitter, with angry fans calling them out...
I'm gone for a while and now Boity & Cassper were pranking us. So no engagement? We have no one to blame but ourselves for believing DRUM.
